You can decorate your Fabergé Egg with embroidery, beads, buttons, crocheted flowers, ribbons or any cute technique you fancy.
Do you decorations before joining the Inner and Outer Eggs together so that the ends are hidden.
Here are some tiny roses you could make.
Small Rose

Medium Rose
Make magic ring, tr9 into ring, fasten off and leave 3” ends.
Leaves
Ch6, dc into 2nd chain from hook, htr, tr, htr, dc, ch6, dc in 2nd chain from hook, dc, htr, tr, htr, ss into middle of pair of leaves, fasten off leaving 3”ends.
Sew roses and leaves onto outer eggs before joining the Inner Eggs and Outer Eggs together. The ends will be hidden when you join the Inners and Outers together.
Joining Everything Together
Turn the Egg Inners inside out so that the right sides are facing inside and the wrong side is on the outside.
Place the Egg Inners inside the corresponding Egg Outers.
Using the Ricorumi Gold Lamé, dc the two edges together in each of the 72 stitches, fasten off and weave in ends.
Place the Egg Top on the Egg Bottom . Decide where you want to put the hinge. I place mine where the join is to cover the join.
Open the egg, holding the top and bottom together on one side and dc5 stitches, creating the hinge to join the Egg Top to the Egg Bottom.
If you’d like to make a fastening you can make a little loop on the top egg edge and place a button on the lower half.
